Dog show/Utställning

 Today there was a dog show under the auspices of SPHK in Orsa. It went really well for three of our offspring and I want to congratulate Madde for another CAC, BOB working class and 4th best male to Bielkersmils Muhit of Eimo aka Frost.

I also want to congratulate Sofie who placed Bielkersmils Lucifer of Twilight aka Diezel in second place with CK in best male and Bielkersmils Love me of Louis aka Zid as best junior and in third place in best male. Unfortunately no CAC for Diezel because he has not had a pull test yet. 

Tomorrow there will be pull test 10 in Koppången which both Madde and Sofie aka will fight through with each dog and sled so I keep my fingers crossed that they will pass the qualification. Many thanks to both Madde and Sofie who are showing their fine Bielkersmils dogs!

The puppies are growing really fast and all are well.

Idag har det varit hundutställning i SPHK:s regi i Orsa. Det gick riktigt bra för tre av våra avkommor och jag vill gratulera Madde till ytterligare CERT, BIR bruks och 4:de bästa hane till Bielkersmils Muhit of Eimo aka Frost-

 Grattis också till Sofie som placerade Bielkersmils Lucifer of Twilight  aka Diezel på andra plats med CK i bästa hane och Bielkersmils Love me of Louis aka Zid som bästa junior och på tredje plats i bästa hane. Tyvärr inget CERT till Diezel eftersom han inte har något dragprov än.

 Imorgon körs dragprov 10 i Koppången som både Madde och Sofie aka kämpa sig igenom med varsin hund och släde så då håller jag tummarna att de klarar meriteringen. Stort tack till både Madde och Sofie som visar sina fina Bielkersmils hundar!

Now the puppies are big enough to stand at the milk bar

Ordinary day/Vanlig dag

A completely normal day for the puppies and Freya. The puppies are developing at a breakneck pace. From being blind and using scent and warmth to find their way to their mother's teats, they have now started to discover each other in earnest. They test their strength on their siblings and sometimes rough play causes a puppy that has been attacked to scream to the top of its lungs.

Freya has now recovered from the mastit and quickly discovered the advantage of jumping into the whelping box, this way she is left alone from constantly "sucking" puppies.

 En helt vanlig dag för valparna och Freya. Valparnas utveckling går med rasande fart. Från att vara blinda och med hjälp av doft och värme leta sig fram till mammas spenar har de nu börjat upptäcka varandra på allvar. De prövar sina krafter på syskonen och ibland medför för hårdhänt lek att en valp som blivit attackerad skriker i högan sky. 
Freya är nu återställd från mastiten och upptäckte snabbt fördelen med att att hoppa in i valplådan, på så sätt får hon vara ifred från ständigt "sugna" valpar.

Bigger world/Större värld

 Today the puppies have moved out of the whelping box which has instead become Freya's sanctuary. They wandered around curiously, sniffing and biting at the bars and newspapers.

Happily, the antibiotics and my efforts seem to have had an effect. Freya's udder is now almost completely normal, only a little swelling and hardness remain.

The night before today I finally got to sleep more than two hours in a row when both puppies and Freya, after being fed, slept from about 11 pm to about 5:30 am.

Idag har valparna flyttat ur valplådan som istället har blivit Freyas fristad.  De vandrade nyfiket runt, nosade och bet i galler och tidningar. 

Glädjande nog tycks antibiotikan och mina ansträngningar ha gett effekt. Freyas juver är nu nästan helt normalt, endast en liten svullnad och hårdhet finns kvar. 

Natten till idag fick jag äntligen sova mer än två timmar i följd då både valpar och Freya, efter att ha fått mat, sov från ca kl23 till ca 05.30.
