Starting today and for the next three weeks, we have a practicing girl with us who is attending the Animal Care Program. She will be helping with most things at the kennel so we hope for a mutual exchange of her stay.
Today, she, Ash, and I went for a really long walk with the puppies. We walked for about 1.5 hours in unpaved terrain and when we got home, the puppies seemed happy and tired. After the walk, one puppy was allowed to come in for extra care with combing and teeth brushing.
Later in the afternoon, we took a shorter walk with Ofelia (the pink bitch) and Orkan (the blue male) who are both going to move to Denmark. They got some training on walking on a leash and we took lots of pictures, which you can see below.

Från och med idag och tre veckor framöver har vi en praktiserande tjej hos oss som går på Djursjukvårdsprogrammet. Hon kommer att få hjälpa till med det mesta på kenneln så vi hoppas på ett ömsesidigt utbyte av hennes vistelse.
Idag har hon, Ash, och jag gått en riktig lång promenad med valparna. Vi gick ca 1,5timmar i obanad terräng och när vi kom hem verkade valparna nöjda och trötta. Efter promenaden fick en valp komma in för att få extra omvårdnad med kamning och tandborstning.
Senare på eftermiddagen tog vi en kortare promenad med Ofelia (den rosa tiken) och O (den blå hanen) som båda kommer att flytta till Danmark. De fick lite träning på att gå i koppel och så tog vi massor av kort som ni kan se nedan.
